PPE for Kolkata Police on the eve of World No Tobacco Day :

While COVID related activities were going on, we noticed that the frontline warriors in this battle against the unseen biological enemy, were not getting ample protection to fight the war with all their might. Other than the health workers, police have been providing silent yeoman’s service to this cause. On the eve of the World No-Tobacco Day, Uddyom and IDA, together with Narayana Superspeciality Hospital,strengthened the safety arsenal of these warriors by giving them PPE, masks, and sanitiser. These personnel belonged to Muchipara and Entally Police Stations, and the Sealdah Traffic Guard were present. For public awareness a tableau bearing messages against tobacco consumption also went around the streets of Kolkata.
